Rolls — maki + specialty
Sushi rolls (maki) bridge sushi for guests new to raw fish and full nigiri/sashimi connoisseurs. See our menu for today's selection.
Our roll philosophy
Every roll at Wano is cut to order, never pre-rolled and sitting. The rice is at room temperature, the seaweed (nori) is crisp from being kept dry until the moment of rolling. This matters — a sushi roll that's been sitting for 20 minutes has soggy nori and cold rice. That's not what we serve.
Classic vs specialty
Our menu typically has two roll categories: classic maki (the traditional rolls everyone knows) and our specialty rolls (with fresh ingredients, sometimes a torched finish, sometimes plated dressings).
For exact roll selection and current prices, please view our full menu on the homepage or ask our staff. Some specialty rolls rotate seasonally.
First-time roll suggestions
If you're new to sushi rolls, start with a classic — our staff can recommend the most approachable option based on what you usually eat. From there, work up to a specialty roll on your next visit.
For groups, ordering an assortment of rolls plus a few pieces of nigiri makes a balanced meal. Tell our server how many people and they'll suggest portions.
